Dr. Noa Gilad, MD 

Dr. Noa Gilad completed her medical education and Obstetrics & Gynecology residency in Israel, followed by specialized training and working in OBGYN ultrasound unit at Sheba Medical Center. After relocating to Canada, she pursued both a Perinatal Fellowship and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at the University of Toronto. During her fellowship, Dr. Gilad’s primary research focus was sleep in pregnancy, contributing to a deeper understanding of its impact on maternal and fetal health. In addition, she has remained at the forefront of fetal ultrasound, continuously advancing her imaging techniques to improve prenatal diagnostics and care. She was nominated as associate professor in university of Toronto.

Dr. Dora Zalai, MD, PhD, C. Psych

Dr. Dora Zalai had worked as a physician prior to earning her doctoral degree in clinical psychology. She practices in the areas of clinical, health and rehabilitation psychology and is an expert in behavioural sleep medicine. She runs an Insomnia Specialty Clinic in Toronto. Her research on circadian rhythm disorders has led to a new approach to treat insomnia symptoms after concussion. Her current area of special interest is sleep in the peri-menopausal period. 

She has educated clinicians and patient groups about sleep and fatigue in North America, Europe and Australia and set up cognitive and behavioural therapy for insomnia programs in community and hospital settings.
